‘Technology Sector Employment Skills Enhancement Workshop’ Held
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office (Director Ha Yuseong) Veterans Support Center announced on the 20th that it held a ‘Technical Field Employment Competency Enhancement Workshop’ for medium- and long-term veterans who served in the military for more than 5 years.
The workshop, held at the Government Gwangju Regional Joint Office, included ▲ Employment Success Strategies! Hear from the responsible counselor (electricity success case) ▲ Technical field (electricity, machinery, etc.) HR vision special lecture (ITL, Railroad Vehicle Engineering) ▲ Mentor special lecture (professor in the automotive technology field) ▲ Military career storytelling and differentiated interview coaching through strength analysis by branch ▲ Introduction to the Veterans Support Center and guidance on available systems, focusing on core content necessary for veterans preparing for career transition.
The event minimized participants to 10 people and was conducted with COVID-19 prevention measures such as venue disinfection, use of hand sanitizer and masks, and completion of self-diagnosis checklists.
Meanwhile, the Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office Veterans Support Center conducts employment and start-up support services to help medium- and long-term veterans who have faithfully performed the mission of national defense for more than 5 years smoothly reintegrate into society after discharge.
