About 100 people, including Chairman Kim Jisoo, council members, and council secretariat staff, visited a persimmon farm located in Dong-eup, Uichang-gu, Changwon City, and worked hard on orchard tasks.
Chairman Kim said, "Due to the aging rural population and the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, it has become difficult to even find foreign workers, deepening the concerns of rural areas during the farming season. We ask for the interest and participation of all residents to support farmers."

Farm owner Lee Jaehong expressed gratitude, saying, "We were greatly worried about the labor shortage during the busy farming season, but thanks to the council members and staff who came to the site and worked hard, we were able to overcome a critical period."
