Humasis Supplies Over 30,000 COVID-19 Diagnostic Kits to Myanmar
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Humasis, a multi-quantitative in vitro diagnostic specialist company, announced on the 20th that it will supply its COVID-19 diagnostic kits to Myanmar.
Humasis is participating in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' humanitarian aid project for Myanmar and will supply approximately 31,000 units of its antibody diagnostic kit, ‘Humasis COVID-19 IgG/IgM Test’.
This humanitarian aid project is being carried out under the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency), and the diagnostic kits are planned to be delivered to the Ministry of Health and Sports of Myanmar.
Since the first confirmed COVID-19 case on March 23, Myanmar has recorded about 180 confirmed cases to date. Currently, Myanmar has limited COVID-19 testing facilities, with an average of about 380 tests conducted per day.
A Humasis official stated, “We will do our best not only to export COVID-19 diagnostic kits but also to actively participate in projects supporting diplomatic efforts to help overcome the global COVID-19 situation.”

Meanwhile, Humasis has completed the registration process for its COVID-19 antibody diagnostic kit product with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
