Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station Puts All Efforts into Ensuring Safety for Disabled People Amid COVID-19
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Moon Gisik) is putting all its efforts into ensuring the safety of people with disabilities who are vulnerable to COVID-19 infection.
According to Gwangsan Fire Station on the 19th, the volunteer fire brigade recently conducted emergency disinfection to prevent the spread of infection in the community amid the resurgence of COVID-19.
The 35 members of the Gwangsan Fire Station volunteer fire brigade were organized into five teams and started from ‘Boram House’ the day before, targeting 14 facilities for people with disabilities in the district.
In addition, to prevent infection among citizens, they plan to promote COVID-19 safety guidelines such as wearing masks, washing hands, and practicing social distancing in daily life.
