Apply for the 2nd Semester National Scholarship
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] Applications for the second semester National Scholarship are now open.
The Ministry of Education and the Korea Student Aid Foundation announced on the 19th that they will accept applications for the National Scholarship from current students, transfer students, and new students starting from 9 a.m. on the 20th until 6 p.m. on the 18th of next month.
Applications can be submitted 24 hours a day through the Korea Student Aid Foundation website and application. Applicants must submit documents for the financial aid eligibility review and complete consent for providing household member information by 6 p.m. on the 23rd of this month. Whether additional documents such as family relation certificates or resident registration copies are required will be notified via the foundation’s website and text messages 1 to 3 days after application.

Support for the National Scholarship requires a minimum grade of B in the previous semester, and students in income brackets 8 or below, based on monthly recognized income, will receive support ranging from 5.2 million KRW to 675,000 KRW annually.
