[Photo] Korean Disabled Green Foundation Donates 300 Protective Suits and 640 Hand Sanitizers to Yongsan-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] The non-profit corporation Korea Disabled Green Foundation (Chairman Jeong Won-seok) donated 300 protective suits and 640 hand sanitizers to Yongsan-gu (District Mayor Seong Jang-hyun) on the 18th.
The foundation operates mainly around the Yongsan-gu Disabled Community Center (245 Seobinggo-ro).
Its main projects include green cultural activities (environmental concerts, photo exhibitions), visiting environmental education, and training environmental leaders with disabilities.
The donated protective suits were produced by the Green Textile Business Group, a facility under the foundation that employs people with severe disabilities.
Chairman Jeong Won-seok said, "We express our gratitude and support to the district office and public health center staff who are working hard due to COVID-19."

The district plans to use the donated items at the district public health center and the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, and distribute any remaining supplies to local welfare facilities for people with disabilities.
