SME Cooperative Practical Board Donates 10 Million Won to Support COVID-19 Victims
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Practical Board of Directors of the Small and Medium Enterprise Cooperative announced on the 18th that it donated 10 million won in sponsorship funds to the Small and Medium Enterprise Love Sharing Foundation to help marginalized groups affected by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
This donation was made by practicing love for small and medium enterprises after opinions were gathered to donate the unspent budget?originally planned for the SME Cooperative Practical Board seminar and various projects in the first half of this year but canceled due to the spread of COVID-19?to the foundation.
The SME Cooperative Practical Board was organized in 1963 with the purpose of revitalizing cooperatives and seeking sustainable development directions through information exchange among executive directors of cooperatives. It operates government exchanges, exchange projects (regular general meetings, industry-specific subcommittees), and mutual aid projects.
