One Additional COVID-19 Case in Seoul Area... No Further Infections at Itaewon Clubs

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] No additional confirmed cases were reported in the Seoul area for a full day in relation to the COVID-19 cluster infection that started at an Itaewon club in Yongsan-gu.
As of 10 a.m. on the 18th, Seoul City announced that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases increased by one from the previous day, totaling 736.
The additional confirmed case was a man in his 20s who entered from the United States and was classified as an overseas contact case; he was transferred to Seoul Medical Center.
Accordingly, among the confirmed COVID-19 cases in Seoul so far, overseas contact cases are the highest at 263, followed by 98 related to the Guro call center, 93 related to the Itaewon club, and 41 related to the Manmin Central Church in Guro-gu.
