Hampyeong-gun Return-to-Farm and Return-to-Village Association Receives Praise for Operating Free Tool Rental Service
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The ‘Free Household Tool Rental Center’ operated by the Hampyeong-gun Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Association (President Park Chunchu) is receiving favorable reviews.
According to Hampyeong-gun on the 15th, the association has been providing a free household tool rental service through its own rental center since January of this year for its members, including those returning to farming and rural areas.
Park Chunchu, president of the Hampyeong-gun Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Association, explained, “We considered that most returnees to farming and rural areas do not have a local base and that there is a high demand for home repair and residential environment improvement.”
Currently, the association operates the free rental center with 238 units of 89 types of household tools, including ladders, cutters, and electric drills.
It operates on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding weekends and public holidays.
Returnee farming households or association members wishing to rent tools can visit the free rental center located in the Hwangso Parking Lot within Hampyeong Expo Park with their ID cards.
They can rent tools immediately after filling out an application form on-site, with a rental period of up to 3 days, extendable once.
