[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Gil-su] Yellow iris flowers in full bloom have created a flower path along Hwangryonggang in Jangseong-gun, Jeonnam. A visitor is capturing the brightly blooming irises on their mobile phone.
In July last year, Jangseong-gun declared the beginning of the "Hwangryonggang Yellow Iris Era" at the first anniversary event of the 7th local government administration and planted approximately 320,000 yellow irises along a 1.7 km section of the Hwangryonggang riverside.

Since then, the flowers have safely endured three autumn typhoons?Lingling, Tapah, and others?and bloomed this month. The county aims to create the largest iris complex in the country and plans to plant an additional 200,000 yellow irises this year.
