One Dead After Barge Capsizes Off Ulsan Coast

According to the Ulsan Coast Guard on the 16th, at around 4:30 a.m. that day, the captain of another vessel discovered and reported a 745-ton marine barge registered in Busan capsized off Ijin Port.
The Coast Guard dispatched rescue teams and patrol boats to search inside the vessel, and at around 5:50 a.m., they found and recovered Choi (71, male, from Ulsan), the onboard manager, deceased.
The Coast Guard reported that the sea waves were high that day and is investigating the accident process and causes.
