Although one overseas entrant in Gyeongsan was confirmed positive on the 12th and another on the 14th, no local infections have been reported since the 4th.
According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 16th, as of midnight, the cumulative number of confirmed cases remains at 1,326, the same as the previous day. No deaths have occurred, keeping the total at 58.
With eight patients discharged the previous day, the number of recovered patients increased to 1,208, accounting for 91.1%. Currently, 60 confirmed patients in the Gyeongbuk area are undergoing isolation treatment at 12 hospitals nationwide, including the National Medical Center.

By cause of infection, there are 473 cases related to Shincheonji, 116 from Cheongdo Daenam Hospital, 68 from Bonghwa Pureun Nursing Home, 65 from Gyeongsan Seoyoyang Hospital, 41 local infections in Yecheon, 29 from religious pilgrimages, 25 from Milal, and 24 imported cases. The remaining 485 cases are still under investigation.
