Busan City-Suhyup, Seafood Consumption Promotion Meal Challenge Campaign
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] Busan City announced on the 15th that it will conduct a school meal challenge campaign to promote seafood consumption, which has sharply declined since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
This campaign is a consumption promotion movement for school meals jointly conducted with the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives to support fishermen who are struggling due to missing the seafood shipping season.
On the day, the city will prepare 1,000 servings of school meal seafood such as mackerel, fish cake, jjukkumi (webfoot octopus), and abalone at the city hall cafeteria during lunchtime and launch the campaign.
