Search of Star Mobility CEO's Residence Related to 'Rhyme Incident'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The prosecution investigating the Lime Asset Management scandal conducted a search and seizure at the residence of the CEO of Star Mobility, a KOSDAQ-listed company involved in the scandal.
The Criminal Division 6 of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Jo Sang-won) sent prosecutors and investigators to secure case-related materials at the Seoul residence of Lee, CEO of Star Mobility, on the 14th.
The specific charges against CEO Lee have not been disclosed.
CEO Lee, a former president of Gwangju MBC, was appointed as CEO of Star Mobility in July last year.
Star Mobility is a company owned by Kim Bong-hyun (currently detained), who was identified as the 'money master' behind Lime.
The prosecution is investigating Kim for allegedly embezzling 51.7 billion KRW from this company. CEO Lee is the party who filed a complaint against Kim for these charges.

It is also reported that Kim, through his associates, filed a counter-complaint against CEO Lee for embezzlement and other charges.
