Suncheon Cultural Foundation Reopens Lifestyle Culture Center 'Yeongdong 1beonji'
Starting from the 18th, Venue Reservations Open; Programs Including Courses Begin from the 1st of Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] The Suncheon Cultural Foundation announced on the 13th that it will resume rental services for the community culture center ‘Yeongdong 1beonji,’ which had been temporarily closed due to the spread of COVID-19, starting from the 18th.
The Suncheon Cultural Foundation opened its secretariat last September at the former Jeojeon-dong Community Center, and following the approval of the management consignment and free use agreement for Yeongdong 1beonji at the 239th Suncheon City Council extraordinary session in March, it plans to manage and operate the facility for the next five years until 2024.
Accordingly, with the secretariat relocating to ‘Yeongdong 1beonji,’ the foundation recently completed hiring staff for rental and cultural arts program operations and has begun preparations to resume rental services.
The available rental facilities include three music practice rooms, a small performance hall, a club room, a multipurpose room, a recording studio, and a study room, totaling eight facilities. Detailed information about the reopening can be found on the Suncheon Cultural Foundation website, and rental applications will be accepted from the 18th via the website and in-person visits.
