Cho Su-jin, spokesperson for the Korean Party, said in a statement that "They rushed out at the mere mention of Cho Kuk," adding, "As expected, he is the major shareholder of the ruling party."
Spokesperson Cho pointed out, "The allegations of mismanagement of public funds by Yoon, a member of the Democratic Party's first unit, and Jeonguiyeon surfaced after grandmother Lee Yong-soo, a comfort woman victim, exposed them," and questioned, "Is this grandmother a force aiming to erase the comfort women issue? Is she a victim of Japanese military sexual slavery or a pro-Japanese force trying to cover up Japan's past? Is revealing the mismanagement of public funds by a civic group an ideological issue divided between conservatives and progressives?"
