Yeonggwang-gun, Emergency Disaster Relief Fund Applications Open from the 18th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) announced on the 13th that from the 18th, applications for the government emergency disaster relief fund will be accepted through the local currency mobile app ‘Geurigo’, the county website, and the eup/myeon offices.
For online applications, the head of household can apply after real-name verification, and for offline applications, the support fund will be provided when the head of household applies with an ID card or a household member applies with the head of household’s ID card and a power of attorney.
When applying through the Yeonggwang Sarang Card mobile app ‘Geurigo’, users can simply enter basic information and apply without a separate visit by launching the app and accessing the application page.
Applications can also be made through the online application tab on the county website.
If you have a Yeonggwang Sarang Card but it is not registered on the ‘Geurigo’ app, you can install ‘Geurigo’ from the mobile app store, register, and then apply.
If it is difficult to visit in person, applications can be made through the county website by visiting the eup/myeon offices with the head of household’s ID card and the Yeonggwang Sarang Card in possession, filling out the application form, and applying. For those who have the Yeonggwang Sarang Card, the support fund will be loaded onto the card they hold.
Those without a card can receive a new card issued immediately on site.
To prevent initial congestion, only offline applications are subject to a ‘day-of-the-week system’.
Based on the last digit of the head of household’s birth year, those ending in 1 or 6 can apply on Monday, 2 or 7 on Tuesday, 3 or 8 on Wednesday, 4 or 9 on Thursday, and 5 or 0 on Friday. Weekend applications are not allowed.
