Body Found Near Hangang River at Dangsan Station, Seoul... Police Request Autopsy from National Forensic Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A skeletonized body was found along the Han River in Seoul, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
The Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 12th that a body, presumed to be male, was discovered near Dangsan Station on Lines 2 and 9 along the Han River in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, around 3 p.m. on the 10th.
According to the police, officers who responded to a report from a passerby found a body with some parts of the body missing and partial skeletonization.
A police official stated, "No signs of a crime were found on the body."
