Gwangju University Holds 'First Meeting Time' Between New Students and Academic Advisors

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyukjong) held a first meeting time with academic advisors for freshmen who wished to participate.
According to Gwangju University on the 11th, the freshmen of the Department of Nursing participated in various programs prepared by the department while minimizing movement routes on campus, following the 'one person, one desk' principle and social distancing manuals, at the nursing practice rooms in Baekin Hall and other locations.
Gwangju University conducts daily disinfection of all equipment and facilities, including classrooms and restrooms, to prevent and block the spread of COVID-19. In addition, temperature check stations have been installed throughout the campus, requiring all entrants to undergo temperature checks, use hand sanitizer, and wear masks.
Meanwhile, due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), Gwangju University conducted all first semester classes online remotely, but with the consent of enrolled students and school approval, face-to-face classes have been conducted since March 30 for 67 experimental and practical subjects.
