KOSPI Ends Slightly Lower at 1930 Level... KOSDAQ Shows Upward Trend

On that day, the KOSPI ended the session at 1935.40, down 10.42 points (0.54%) from the previous close.
The KOSPI opened at 1953.51, up 7.69 points (0.40%) from the previous trading day, appearing to maintain a strong trend, but turned completely bearish after 2 p.m.
In the securities market, individual investors net bought 512.2 billion KRW. Conversely, foreigners and institutions net sold 174.6 billion KRW and 364 billion KRW, respectively.
By sector, machinery (1.93%) and medical precision (1.31%) rose, while paper & wood (1.15%) and steel & metal (1.5%) declined.
Among the top 10 companies by market capitalization, Samsung Electronics (0.82%), SK Hynix (0.59%), Samsung Biologics (0.34%), and LG Chem (1.7%) fell, while NAVER (0.23%) and LG Household & Health Care (1.13%) rose.
The KOSDAQ closed at 685.04, up 2.74 points (0.40%) from the previous close.
The KOSDAQ opened at 686.81, up 4.51 points (0.66%) from the previous trading day, and moved within a narrow range.
In the KOSDAQ market, individual investors net bought 150.8 billion KRW. In contrast, foreigners and institutions net sold 104.7 billion KRW and 29.8 billion KRW, respectively.
By sector, internet (2.2%) and publishing & media replication (3.12%) rose, while telecommunications equipment (1.46%) and semiconductors (0.88%) declined.

Among the top market cap companies, Celltrion Healthcare (0.91%), HL Biopharma (13.25%), Celltrion Pharm (1.77%), Seegene (1.31%), and Alteogen (16.14%) rose. Meanwhile, CJ ENM (3.07%) and KMH (2.71%) declined.
