Jeonbuk Province Conducts COVID-19 Tests on 21 Individuals Related to Itaewon Club Confirmed Cases
7 Contacts and 14 Voluntary Reports All Negative

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Tae-in] Jeonbuk Province conducted COVID-19 tests on 7 contacts of a confirmed patient from Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, as notified by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, and 14 individuals who voluntarily reported visiting the Itaewon club related to the confirmed case via Jeonbuk Province safety alert messages. All test results came back negative. It was announced on the 11th that these individuals immediately entered self-quarantine.
Additionally, among the 7 contacts notified, 2 have been transferred to the jurisdictional public health centers in Seoul and Daegu, where they currently reside.
On the 8th and 9th, the province requested those who visited the Itaewon club on the 2nd to call or visit their city or county public health centers through emergency disaster messages, and informed that testing could be conducted anonymously. Through this, 14 people voluntarily reported visiting the related establishments.
