Jinju City to Hold 'Zero Pay Prize Event' Until Next Month to Revitalize Local Economy
55-Day Limited First-Come, First-Served Distribution of Jinju Sarang Gift Certificates
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 11th that it will hold an event linking Zero Pay and Jinju Sarang Gift Certificates to revitalize the local economy, which has been depressed due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
From the 12th to the 30th of next month, over 55 days, consumers who pay with Zero Pay within the jurisdiction will receive Jinju Sarang Gift Certificates as prizes. Depending on the payment amount, gift certificates ranging from a minimum of 5,000 won to a maximum of 70,000 won will be given on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is exhausted.
Additionally, the city designated the period from the 11th to the 15th as Zero Pay Week, and the 15th, a day when the city hall cafeteria is closed, as "Zero Pay Day," encouraging all employees to use Zero Pay for payments.
