[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 10th, marking the 3rd anniversary of the Moon Jae-in administration, the Democratic Party of Korea stated, "We will create a humble politics, a party that engages in dialogue, and a National Assembly that produces results, and together with the Moon Jae-in administration, we will definitely overcome the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19)."
Democratic Party spokesperson Heo Yoon-jung said in a commentary on the same day, "The party, government, and Blue House will join forces to do their best to prepare a path of innovation, coexistence, and recovery that our people desire."
Heo emphasized, "We never take lightly the weight of the times and the sternness of public sentiment," adding, "In the last general election, our people gave strength to the Democratic Party and the Moon Jae-in administration. It is a mandate to embrace the lives of the people."
He continued, "We are seriously contemplating the essence of politics and the nature of the state in a world changed by COVID-19," and added, "Above all, we will create the 21st National Assembly that protects the ordinary daily lives of the people."
