Gyeongnam Arboretum to Fully Reopen Including Indoor Facilities from the 9th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] The Gyeongsangnam-do Forest Environment Research Institute will fully reopen the arboretum, including indoor facilities, starting from the 9th.
The institute temporarily closed from the 4th of last month due to social distancing measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), and partially reopened outdoor facilities on the 23rd of the same month following the phased implementation of social distancing.
Since the transition to a daily quarantine system on the 6th, in addition to the already opened outdoor facilities, indoor facilities such as the Forest Museum, Mugunghwa Promotion Center, and five exhibition greenhouses will be fully reopened from this day onward.
However, considering that the COVID-19 infectious disease crisis level remains at a 'serious' stage, only individual visits are allowed, not group visits, and hand sanitizers will be provided. Visitors will be required to wear masks and have their temperatures checked upon entry.
Additionally, visitor routes will be guided in one direction only, with continuous ventilation, frequent disinfection of external convenience facilities and restrooms, and other detailed daily quarantine guidelines applied during operation.
