[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Busan City will hold a 'Walking Day Campaign' on the morning of the 11th at 8 a.m. in the first-floor lobby of City Hall to promote walking in daily life for citizens and employees in line with the transition to the COVID-19 daily quarantine system.
Walking Day is intended to encourage practicing walking in daily life once a month on the 11th of every month, and the city explained that the date '11,' shaped like two legs, gives the name and meaning.
Walking Day emphasizes the '3·3·3 practice tasks,' including walking using public transportation, walking using stairs, walking with neighbors, as well as warming up, hand sanitizing, and bringing personal tools.
