Habitual Thief Targeting Late Night Hours Caught by Undercover Police

The Gwangju Dongbu Police Station announced on the 8th that they have arrested and are investigating Kim Mo (53) on charges of habitual special theft for entering a mart with closed doors during late-night hours when few people were around, stealing cash and other items, and fleeing.
Kim is accused of breaking into a mart in Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, around 3 a.m. on the 24th of last month by breaking the entrance door with pre-prepared tools, smashing the cash register's cash box, taking 1 million won, and escaping.
Investigations revealed that Kim committed similar crimes on the 7th in Nam-gu and Seo-gu using the same method.
