Shinhan Life Insurance formed a jury panel of 100 members selected from among its customers and held a complaint review meeting involving the jury panel for two cases currently under dispute as complaints.
In the case related to incomplete sales, the jury panel's opinion was rejected but was ultimately accepted, while the complaint regarding the cancellation of contract termination request was closed with the same rejection as the jury panel's opinion.
The customer jury panel system is a customer panel system that allows customers to directly participate in consumer protection-related activities and provide opinions, which Shinhan Life Insurance first introduced in the industry last September.
Additionally, to strengthen the preemptive consumer protection system, Shinhan Life Insurance operates the CEO on-site office and a next-day withdrawal system for the first insurance premium targeting the GA channel once. It also strengthens the post-consumer protection response system by deploying dedicated dispute personnel on-site and operating a prompt and professional response system.
