Hahm Shin-ik and Symphony Song Masters Series 'Faur? Requiem · Saint-Sa?ns Egypt'
[Asia Economy Reporter Byunghee Park] Shin-ik Ham and Symphony Song will hold a concert titled "A Feast of French Romantic Music" at 7:30 PM on the 27th at the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall.
As the second stage of the Ham Shin-ik and Symphony Song Masters Series, they will present Faur?'s "Requiem" and "Pavane," and Saint-Sa?ns' "Piano Concerto No. 5."
Faur? is called the father of modern French music. The Requiem was composed by Faur? when his father passed away and is the most famous and beloved work among Faur?'s compositions. The Pavane was originally a piece for piano but was arranged for orchestra and is frequently performed. Faur?'s works will feature soprano Ji-young Yang, baritone Byung-woo Gong, and the National Chorus.
