Good Prepayment is a consumer movement that helps alleviate the difficulties faced by small business owners due to COVID-19 by prepaying for services at small businesses such as restaurants and cafes and promising to revisit.
Attending the event were Park Young-sun, Minister of SMEs and Startups, Kim Sung-soo, Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister, and Cha Young-hwan, Second Vice Minister of the Prime Minister's Office.
The government decided to promote 'measures to supplement domestic demand through prepayment and pre-purchase' at the 4th Emergency Economic Meeting on the 8th of last month and is currently working to expand the Good Prepayment movement throughout society to revitalize local commercial districts and help small business owners overcome difficulties.
Additionally, Prime Minister Jeong participated in the promotional video for the 'Good Prepayment National Campaign.'
The promotional video will be used to spread the consumer movement through social network services (SNS) of central government ministries and the campaign homepage until the 26th of this month.
