Military Personnel Leave Normalized Starting from the 8th
[Asia Economy Reporter Yang Nak-gyu] The leave for soldiers, which had been restricted to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), will be resumed normally from the 8th.
On the 4th, the Ministry of National Defense announced that in line with the government's transition to 'social distancing in daily life,' soldiers' leave will be normally implemented starting from the 8th.
Overnight stays and visits will be gradually implemented later, considering the occurrence of confirmed COVID-19 cases within the military and trends of community infections. The previously restricted outings for officers will also be carried out normally.
However, key personnel such as those working in command and control rooms and major power operation personnel will implement quarantine measures to ensure there are no issues in maintaining military readiness.
