Turkey's COVID-19 Cases Surpass 120,000... Total Deaths Reach 3,174
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] The cumulative number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Turkey has surpassed 120,000.
On the 1st (local time), the Turkish Ministry of Health announced that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country increased by 2,615 from the previous day, reaching 120,204. Turkey ranks seventh in the world for the highest cumulative number of COVID-19 cases.
The cumulative death toll also rose by 93 from the previous day, reaching 3,174.

Fahrettin Koca, Turkey's Minister of Health, stated on Twitter, "In the past 24 hours, 42,004 COVID-19 tests were conducted, bringing the total number of tests to 1,033,617."
