Chosun University Holds First 'Citizen Observer' Board Meeting Among Private Universities
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University (President Min Young-don) announced on the 24th that it held the first-ever Board of Trustees meeting open to citizen observers among private universities in Korea.
This was a pilot initiative to open the Chosun University Board of Trustees to the local community in a manner befitting the status of a public university, aiming to make university management more transparent.
At the meeting, Park Jin-woo, Research Director of the May 18 Memorial Foundation, and Lee Tae-yoon, Secretary General of the Justice and Peace Committee of the Catholic Archdiocese of Gwangju, attended as observers.
