Coupang, 'Top Efficiency Home Appliance Purchase Cost Rebate' Promotion Event
Up to 300,000 KRW per person, 10% refund on product purchase amount
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Coupang announced on the 24th that it will hold a special promotion participating in the Top Efficiency Home Appliance Purchase Cost Rebate Project promoted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
Through this special promotion, Coupang will sell a total of eight high-efficiency home appliance categories, including air conditioners, refrigerators, TVs, and air purifiers, at more reasonable prices. All customers who purchase high-efficiency home appliances can receive a 10% rebate on the purchase cost within a personal limit of 300,000 KRW. Customers who wish to receive the rebate can apply on the Korea Energy Agency website until January 15 of next year, and the program will end early if the budget is exhausted.
Coupang also offers additional discount benefits separate from the government rebate. For some products, up to 20% additional discounts are applied depending on the credit card company, and detailed information about the applicable cards can be found on the product page. Coupang provides professional installation services for customers purchasing large home appliances. This service allows customers to receive large appliances via Rocket Delivery the next day after purchase, with the entire process from delivery to installation handled directly by professional technicians. Customers can also freely choose delivery and installation schedules within two weeks from the purchase date according to their schedule.
