Lotte Concert Hall Resumes El Toyo Concert After 3 Months... Mellow Kitchen Performance on May 16
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] The Lotte Concert Hall L-Toyo Concert will resume after three months.
The Lotte Cultural Foundation announced on the 23rd that jazz saxophonist Mellow Kitchen and his band will perform under the title "Jazz Meets Classicism" at 11 a.m. on May 16. The concert will present jazz arrangements of classical masterpieces from the Classical period, including Mozart's "Symphony No. 40" and "Turkish March," as well as Beethoven's "Pathetique" and "Moonlight" sonatas.
Mellow Kitchen has participated as a recording and live session musician on albums by popular singers such as Shin Seung-hoon, Shinhwa, Epik High, Sistar, EXID, Sweet Sorrow, Jung Yup, Lee Hyori, Urban Zakapa, and Naul. He has played saxophone on various terrestrial and cable music programs including KBS's "Immortal Songs," SBS's "K-pop Star," SBS's "Fantastic Duo," MBC's "Yesterday," Mnet's "Superstar K" seasons 2 to 7, and JTBC's "Go to the End." He also appeared on the recently concluded popular JTBC show "Superband."
The L-Toyo Concert "Saturday Classic Walk" is a classical concert that can be enjoyed comfortably and without burden on a leisurely Saturday morning. Admission is allowed for those aged 7 and above.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, performances were held in February but were canceled in March and April. The March and April performances have been rescheduled to August 8 and November 7, respectively.
