On the 20th, Woo said on his Facebook, "Deobureo Simindang and the candlelight citizens are the main agents, especially those who gathered in Seocho-dong and Yeouido last year shouting for prosecutorial reform," adding, "As one of them, is it really that arrogant for me to leave a personal opinion on Facebook?"
Earlier, on the 16th, he said to Prosecutor General Yoon, "The candlelight citizens who gathered in Seocho-dong are now uniting their strength to ask about your position in Yeouido. You, who held such absolute power, what will you do now?"
In response, Kim Yong-tae, a member of the Future United Party, criticized, saying, "Your arrogance is sky-high," and "Though I lost the election, I sternly warn you for your shamelessness in stepping forward as if you have been waiting to behead Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol."
Then Woo replied, "I heard today that people are nitpicking even about the content I clearly wrote as personal imagination," adding, "It is even more ridiculous that some accept the situation where personal imagination left behind, unless it is about legal content, is criticized."
He continued, "I naturally imagine a world without unnecessary suffering, peaceful reunification of North and South Korea, driving a car from Seoul through Siberia to Europe, strict punishment for crimes against relatively vulnerable groups such as minors or women, and a society where evil laws like the death penalty or the National Security Law have disappeared," and pointed out, "But when I left such imaginations, it is said to be a problem. Has our society come to the point where even personal imagination is criticized and censored?"
