The emergency funds will support lesson professionals, caddies, course managers?who make up most of the POA members?as well as golf course owners struggling with financial difficulties. The POA plans to contribute 2.5 million dollars initially, with the remaining 2.5 million dollars to be raised through other organizations. The PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, Golf Course Superintendents Association, Golf Course Owners Association, and Golf Equipment Distributors Association have all expressed their intention to participate in raising the fund.
