On the 8th, the Gyeongbuk Provincial Fire Department announced that they had suspended firefighter A (57), who works under the Cheongdo Fire Station.
Earlier, on the 26th of last month, the Provincial Fire Department requested an investigation by the Cheongdo Police Station into firefighter A on suspicion of secretly installing a hidden camera in the women's restroom of his office.
Additionally, the fire station suspended firefighter A on the 31st of last month, after being notified by the police of the start of the investigation.
The police are currently investigating firefighter A on charges of violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, etc. (filming using a camera, etc.).
