[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Lee Sujin, the Democratic Party candidate, criticized Na Kyungwon, the United Future Party candidate competing in Dongjak District, Seoul, on the 8th, saying, "The National Assembly is not a place for fighters. It should be for people who work well."
On the same day, Lee posted on her Facebook under the title "If it's fighting and verbal abuse skills, I politely decline," stating, "The opposing candidate said that 'skills' cannot be copied. It makes sense, so I asked the residents of Dongjak what skills he has, but no one knew. It's a skill shrouded in mystery."
She continued, "Looking at how he ignored the 'National Assembly Advancement Act' and turned the National Assembly into chaos, it seems he does have fighting skills. Calling President Moon Jae-in 'Chief Spokesperson for Kim Jong-un' and even using the term 'dalchang' shows considerable verbal abuse skills," adding, "If the skills the opposing candidate talks about are 'fighting' and 'verbal abuse,' I politely decline." 'Dalchang' is a derogatory term for supporters of President Moon Jae-in.
Finally, Lee said, "Meeting the residents of Dongjak is becoming more enjoyable," adding, "'The judge' part is gradually fading, and I am becoming a 'worker.' I will listen with my ears and work on the ground. I will develop 'skills' for working, not for fighting."

Earlier, on the 6th, Na emphasized on her Facebook, "You can copy pledges, but you cannot copy skills," stating, "Anyone can make pledges look plausible. Words written in existing candidates' campaign materials and legislative reports can be copied. However, the power and skills to turn pledges into reality cannot be imitated. I have been thoroughly practicing the resolution of Dongjak's long-standing issues for a long time."
