On the 5th, Gyeongnam Province announced that a female nurse (39, Changwon) working at Masan Medical Center tested positive for COVID-19. The province is investigating the infection route, including whether she was infected by an inpatient.
This is the first time that medical staff at Masan Medical Center, operated as an infectious disease dedicated hospital, have tested positive.
