Gwangju Self-Quarantine Violator Found in Chungcheong Region: "Traveled by KTX"
[Asia Economy Reporter Wondara] An incident occurred where a COVID-19 self-quarantine subject in the Gwangju area illegally left quarantine and was caught in the Chungcheong region.
According to Gwangju City on the 3rd, A (29), a resident of Junghung-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju, who was recently classified as a COVID-19 self-quarantine subject after entering from overseas, traveled to another region by taxi and KTX that morning.
The Buk-gu Public Health Center in Gwangju confirmed A’s departure during the monitoring process of self-quarantine subjects and reported it to the police. The police secured A’s whereabouts in the Chungcheong area and transported him back to his home in Gwangju by a health center ambulance for isolation measures.
