On the 1st, KPGA announced, "We have canceled two tournaments, the May SK Telecom Open (total prize money undecided) and the KB Financial Live Championship (total prize money 700 million KRW), due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19." This marks the third consecutive disruption following the postponement of the Korean Tour opening event, the DB Insurance Promy Open (total prize money 500 million KRW), originally scheduled for April 23. The SK Telecom Open was scheduled to be held from May 14, and the KB Financial Live Championship from May 21.
