Jeonbuk Province to Hold 'Drive-Thru' Agricultural and Marine Products Sales Event on the 4th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Jeonbuk Province is launching a large-scale special sales event for agricultural and marine products to support farmers, fishermen, and residents facing difficulties due to COVID-19.
Jeonbuk Province announced on the 30th that on the 4th, agricultural and marine products will be sold at a 30-50% discount through a drive-thru event held in the parking lot of the provincial government office.
The special sales event will offer items such as strawberries, cherry tomatoes, apples, and dongjuk (marine products) at dramatically discounted prices (30-50% off).
Additionally, eco-friendly agricultural products for school meals, which have faced difficulties securing sales channels due to the postponement of elementary, middle, and high school openings, will be packaged into bundles and sold at a 30% discount.
As part of social distancing measures to prevent COVID-19, the event will adopt a 'drive-thru method' where consumers select products while remaining in their vehicles, and the items will be loaded into their trunks, minimizing contact at the event site.
