Seodaemun-gu Reports 1 Additional COVID-19 Case (UK Arrivals)
31-Year-Old Man Entered London, UK on the 27th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the 29th, one confirmed case of COVID-19 was reported among the residents of Seodaemun-gu.
The confirmed case is a 31-year-old male residing in DMC Ssangyong Sweet Dot Home, Namgajwa 2-dong. He arrived in South Korea on the 27th after departing from London, United Kingdom, and has been under self-quarantine since his arrival.
Without any notable symptoms, he underwent a COVID-19 test at the Seodaemun-gu Public Health Center screening clinic on the 28th, and was confirmed positive on the 29th.
The confirmed patient was transferred to Seoul Municipal Seobuk Hospital in Eunpyeong-gu, and disinfection work was carried out around his residence.
According to the confirmed patient, aside from traveling from Incheon International Airport to his home and then visiting the health center, no additional movement paths have been identified so far.
