Daegu COVID-19 Deaths Increase by 3 in One Day... Total 155 in South Korea
[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Jo] Three additional deaths due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) were reported in Daegu. This brings the total number of COVID-19 deaths in South Korea to 155.
On the 29th, Daegu city announced that Mr. A (83), who was confirmed positive for COVID-19, passed away. Mr. A died at 2:15 a.m. at Daegu Medical Center.
Mr. A had underlying conditions including dementia and hypertension and was hospitalized at Hansarang Nursing Hospital. After testing positive on the 19th, he was transferred to Daegu Medical Center for treatment.
In Daegu, two other COVID-19 confirmed patients, Ms. B (87, female) and Mr. C (78), also died the previous day. Ms. B died at 10:08 p.m. at Daegu Medical Center, and Mr. C died at 5:26 p.m. at Fatima Hospital on the same day.
Ms. B was found to have underlying conditions such as dementia and hypertension. She was hospitalized at Hansarang Nursing Hospital and was transferred to Daegu Medical Center after testing positive on the 18th. Mr. C, who had diabetes, showed symptoms such as diarrhea and phlegm on the 1st and visited the respiratory clinic at Fatima Hospital, where he was confirmed positive on the 4th.
