Apple Introduces COVID-19 Self-Testing App
[Asia Economy New York=Correspondent Baek Jong-min] Apple has introduced an app that can check symptoms of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 27th (local time), U.S. President Donald Trump introduced during the COVID-19 task force briefing that Apple has released an app for self-assessment of COVID-19 symptoms.
According to CNN, Apple also launched a website (https://www.apple.com/covid19) that informs users about what to do regarding COVID-19. This app and website contain COVID-19 related information and questionnaires for users.
Apple developed the app and website in collaboration with the White House COVID-19 Task Force, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
