Lee Hyeong-cheol, Head of Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters, Inspects Osan Disaster Experience Center Construction Site
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] On the 27th, Lee Hyung-cheol, head of the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, visited the construction site of the Gyeonggi-do Disaster Safety Comprehensive Experience Center (tentative name) being built in Osan to conduct a safety inspection for the thawing season.
Lee's visit was carried out to prevent disasters by blocking risk factors such as ground cracks, collapses, and health hazards to workers ahead of the thawing season.
He inspected the risk of slope collapse and safety management of the soil storage area at the site. He also checked the health management status of workers due to temperature fluctuations and especially emphasized strict compliance with quarantine rules to prevent COVID-19 infection.
Lee urged, "Please pay special attention to maintaining cleanliness at the site to prevent safety accidents through thawing season safety inspections and to prevent COVID-19."

The Gyeonggi-do Disaster Safety Comprehensive Experience Center is being constructed at 242-3, Naesammi-dong, Osan-si, with one basement floor and one above-ground floor (total floor area 7,094㎡). The target completion date is November 2021.
