According to Daegu City on the 27th, COVID-19 patient A (25, female) from Daegu, who was admitted to a residential treatment center in Boeun, Chungbuk, wandered outside for about 15 minutes starting at 2:30 PM on the 26th.
The residential treatment center houses 181 COVID-19 patients from Daegu and 70 staff members.
Ms. A exited through the basement exit, which was opened for delivering lunch boxes and quarantine supplies. She left without permission, drank coffee given by a nearby resident, and left some behind, which the resident then drank.
The Boeun County Health Center plans to quarantine the resident couple and conduct COVID-19 tests.
Daegu City plans to transfer Ms. A to another hospital in Daegu in preparation for any further unexpected actions and file charges against her for violating the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act.
