On the 26th, Councilor Lee posted on his Facebook, "A third party filed an assault charge against me yesterday (the 25th)," adding, "I don't mind being accused, but it is truly regrettable that such an incident occurred."

The following day, on the 26th, after passing the original COVID-19 supplementary budget proposal during the temporary session and while leaving, Mayor Kwon and Councilor Lee clashed once again. When Councilor Lee followed Mayor Kwon and asked, "Why isn't the emergency livelihood fund provided in cash? I can't accept this; please give me some grounds," Mayor Kwon responded, "Is this politics? Please stop making things difficult," leading to a verbal dispute.
As Councilor Lee continued to protest, Mayor Kwon suddenly grabbed his head with his right hand and collapsed, and a Daegu City Hall official nearby carried Mayor Kwon to the mayor's office.
Mayor Kwon was transported by the 119 emergency medical team to the emergency room of Kyungpook National University Hospital, reportedly showing symptoms such as vomiting and dizziness due to fatigue accumulation.
