290 LG Display Employees Granted Special Entry to Guangzhou, China
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] About 290 engineers and researchers from LG Display are departing for Guangzhou, China.
According to related industries on the 26th, LG Display employees will leave Incheon Airport at 8:55 a.m. on the same day, boarding a Korean Air charter flight to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in China.
The employees will be quarantined for a certain period in a separate isolation facility prepared by the company, then deployed to prepare for mass production at the Guangzhou OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) factory.
They will enter the country after obtaining a negative test certificate in Korea and be quarantined in a separate space. Although the quarantine period has not been finalized, it is known to be minimized through negotiations.
