Police Send Actor Hong Gijun to Prosecution on Drunk Driving Charges

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Actor Hong Ki-jun (42), who appeared in the recently concluded SBS drama 'Stove League,' has been referred to the prosecution on charges of drunk driving.
On the 25th, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that they had sent Hong, who is accused of drunk driving, to the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office with a recommendation for indictment.
Hong is accused of drinking and driving near Machun Intersection in Songpa-gu, Seoul, at around 11:20 p.m. on the 7th.
At the time, Hong was caught by the police after falling asleep in his car while waiting at a traffic light, and his blood alcohol concentration was confirmed to be at the level warranting license cancellation.
